Wholesale Ordering with The Type Set Co. ®
Hello! We’re so excited that you are looking into carrying The Type Set Co.® brand and our products! We look forward to learning more about your store and building a successful partnership. Please read and familiarize yourself with our wholesale policies below.
To place an order, view wholesale pricing, or access our online catalog, you must first be a registered and approved retailer. If you’re not registered and would like to be, please see directions below. Please note in order to be approved you must have a working URL for your store or you may send us photos of your storefront for consideration to email@example.com.
Online retailers carrying our products are required to include The Type Set Co.® name in the product title or in the product description. Once you are approved as an online retailer, you may only sell on the URL that is submitted and approved through your wholesale application. Accounts may not utilize national/global selling platforms, including but not limited to Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, etc. Failure to comply will result in your wholesale status being revoked.
All The Type Set Co.® products being sold online must state: “created by The Type Set Co.®”.
Signing Up for a Wholesale Account
You can apply for a wholesale account with The Type Set Co.® (and receive access to our current catalog) by filling out the form on our wholesale page here: http://thetypesetco.com/wholesale. You must complete the form in order to move forward with the approval process. Once you complete the form, we will notify you in 1-3 business days with the status of your account application.
Once approved, your account will change from ‘subscriber’ to ‘wholesale buyer’ and you can place an order via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by calling 678-809-8569.
Please be mindful of our minimum quantity requirements when ordering, which can be found in our wholesale catalog. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at email@example.com.
Order Amount Minimums
Opening orders: $200
Minimum reorder: $200
Payment details are due at the time order is placed. Payment is charged prior to shipping. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, & Checks. Shipping charges will be added to final invoice. At this time, we do not offer payment terms. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
Orders ship approximately 2-3 days from the order date unless otherwise stated. Please allow extra time immediately following a tradeshow. Back-ordered or new stock items take approximately 45-90 days to restock. We strive to get orders out as fast as we can and do our best to list ship dates on upcoming product releases. Please contact us for specific lead times. All orders ship via UPS or USPS. Please contact us if you would like to request special shipping terms, times, or if you have a shipping account number you would like us to use.
Wholesale orders are packaged in as few boxes as possible. All items are retail ready and have labeling and packaging to clearly identify the product as well as GS1 Barcodes.
The Type Set Co.® products must be sold in their original packaging. Boxed sets may not be broken up and sold as individual letters. If you have any questions regarding the way our items are packaged, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If an item is out of stock we will remove the item from your order and make a note on the invoice. In the rare occasion, we put an item in your order on backorder, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated.
Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy
Returns, Exchanges, & Refunds
Items may be returned within 5 days of receiving shipment. Product must be in unused, unopened, resaleable condition. Simply return the merchandise with the original invoice and a note stating your reason for return and we’ll happily refund the purchase price minus shipping and a 20% restocking fee. We will not accept returned products that have already been opened, marked or labeled. Will not accept returned items that were damaged in shipment due to improper re-packing. Claims for damaged or missing merchandise must be made within 5 business days of shipment arrival. Damaged items will be replaced free of charge or a credit will be issued for the damaged items. Requests outside of our 5-day policy will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
Product Images & Features
If you would like to use The Type Set Co.® product photography to market our products you must be an approved The Type Set Co.® retailer. If you are an approved retailer please email us at email@example.com. When using our images on a website or printed publication, our approval must be given in email or writing after filling out the form. If a professional photographer is listed in the image or folder, photo credit must be given.
The product and lifestyle images we send to you can only specifically be used to market our products. Images cannot be used on your website as banner images unless our product is named and featured alongside the lifestyle image. The photography rights provided to you only extends to the marketing of our products and The Type Set Co.® brand.
White-labeling our products, or attempting to white-label any images — including cropping out our branding or editing out any watermarks — is strictly prohibited.
Approved online retailers carrying our products are required to include The Type Set Co.® brand name in the product title or in the product description. Press features must also include The Type Set Co.® brand name.
One sample set may be purchased for half-price. New accounts ordering $500 or more can order one sample set free of charge. A sample set is defined as one 15x15 board, one set of soft magnetic letters, one block easel, and one toolkit. This set must be used as a store display.
